my near death experience

Before I start let me give some background info to this story.

My Alberta car insurance expired yesterday and I haven't had an opportunity to get some BC insurance. (Trying to figure out the whole process to change all that stuff over is a huge task!)

SO... in order to drive today I needed to borrow someone's car... and who do I know here in Vancouver that I could ask... well that would leave Janet.

She reluctantly handed over the keys to her precious blue baby... asking me if knew how to drive a standard... giving me instructions on how to take good care of her car.

All was going well until I was almost home... I didn't even stall the car once.

THEN I was merging onto Caribou road and there was this big truck behind me... and he was quite far over on my left side making it impossible to merge into the traffic because I couldn't see because he was SO big...

BUT he wasn't stopping... he was forcing me more and more forward into the traffic.... but I couldn't see so I didn't want to go forward... and I was running out of room... and all I could see was his big headlights getting bigger in my mirror. He wasn't stopping... he was about to squash me like a bug.
I laid on the horn... and he had the nerve to honk back... jerk... he was the one blocking my view and trying to drive over me.

It wasn't the truck that would have killed me... it would have been Janet after she saw her squashed bug. I would be dead... not breathing...

That's right. You would have been dead. After I first let the Rats knaw on your limbs and face for a while.....
